Resumen: Another new compact camera announced by Canon this week is the Canon PowerShot S90 .The Canon PowerShot S90 features a 10 megapixel image sensor (CCD), 3.8x optical zoom (28-105mm equivalent )lens with image stabilization and a 3 inch LCD. The lens co...
Resumen: My first real camera was a Canon S50. I loved it. Canon let the pro compact S line die a few years later. It's back with the S90, though the only thing that's the same is that it's still awesome. Sex and Brains It's got the same spacious...
Excellent user interface, Outstanding image quality, Raw format support, Extremely compact and lightweight,
Control dial on back can accidentally change settings, Lackluster battery performance, No HD movie mode
The PowerShot S90 is the best shirt pocket compact I’ve ever used. Even though it’s a fraction of the size of a digital SLR, it provides many of the features I value in larger cameras: fast lens, Raw option, high ISO capture. It’s not perfect by any m...
Picture quality – exposure, sharpness, contrast, colour – from the S90 is outstanding for a compact. Like the G11 it now stands at the top of the heap for image quality from a small camera. Canon’s well-evolved ergonomics, which differ o...

Large aperture (f2), Very good low-light image quality, RAW mode, Easy to use control system
Jog dial is a bit too smooth, Average performance at low ISO, No HD recording
Sadly even though there is an HDMI port the S90 features no HD video recording and is only limited to record at 640 by 480 VGA. This totally eliminates the need to have an HDMI port in the first place since what you will be watching even on an HD TV wi...

Compact and light; useful features such as time-lapse mode; options for choosing AF frame size; quick to focus; fast performance.
Picture quality starts to deterioriate from ISO 400; control ring operation can be cumbersome; no multi-aspect mode.
Resumen: In recent years, the PowerShot G-series has been Canon's prosumer camera line, and part of what makes the G-series so popular is the fact that they have bigger sensors than your usual compact camera.A larger sensor usually gives you sharper, clearer image...
