These compact powered speakers deliver phenomenal sound for their size. They offer simple, attractive styling, and two audio inputs
The speakers lack a remote control, and the volume control is inconveniently located on the backside, and there's no way to toggle between inputs. The Audioengines are also a bit pricey compared with less refined PC speakers
Though they're not cheap, the Audioengine 2 speakers are an ideal combination of compact size and good looks, delivering great sound for their size. Read full review See all prices
Resumen: My buddy Dimitri recently had the chance to review Audioengine’s A5 speakers over on WhatsOniPhone. He loved the big sound and excellent build. I’ve recently had a chance to take a look at the far smaller A2s; at about 1/3 the size of the A5s...
Resumen: Back Audioengine A2 Powered Loudspeakers I’ve never given much of a fig either way about computer speakers. Oh, I know the gamers treasure a rumblin’, tumblin’, stumblin’ sound system, all the better to capture the Birth of the Universe when Gonthrax...
Resumen: MSI Overclocking Contest Continues Round 2! Audiophilia 101High End Audio is a difficult genre to define. Some find Audiophiles as mysterious as Freemasons and their hobby just as inaccessible. As an Audiophile I do not own a Shriner Masonic cap with ...

Amazing speakers for the price, Under $200, Small, Sexy
Only two channels, Not loud (quality over quantity)
Although the MSRP is $199, you can find A2s for much less. In that price range theres a lot of noise, but believe me, these are the signal. Compact and stylish, theyre unfortunately easy to overlook; a stereo-speaker needle in a 5.1 haystack. And I w...

The Audioengine A2 speaker set should be on the short list of anyone who values good musical reproduction over chest-thumping bass. If you're not sure into which camp you fall, you can order directly from the company, audition the A2s for up to 30 day...
Resumen: Video Review: The Audioengine A2 speakers are well constructed and good sounding. They are a 2-channel speaker system with 60 watts of total power. We recommend using an equalizer to help balance out the bass.

Amazing sound in a tiny formfactor. No subwoofer necessary.
Lacks the frontmounted volume control and USB port charger of the A5.
