Hefty, smooth sound, Lots of bass weight, Useful app,
Lack of dynamics, Not the most organised sound,
The Air 200 is bold, powerful and driven. We'd like a little more from its dynamic range, but if you're after heavyweight punch at a reasonable price, you could do much worse.See our Cambridge reviewsSee our wireless speaker reviews...
Powerful, balanced sound, Good bass depth, Versatile
Poor mobile app, Expensive
The Cambridge Audio Minx Air 200 is a great wireless speaker with AirPlay and Bluetooth that's only let down by a slightly fiddly interface and setup process. Looking for something more portable try: Best Portable Speakers...
Big, powerful sound, Great sense of scale and openness, Detailed and enthusiastic sound, Build quality, Versatile breadth of streaming features and connectivity
Remote control is too small, fiddly and slow
There's no denying it: we're hugely impressed with what this Minx Air 200 can do. It may be unfamiliar ground for Cambridge Audio, but it's come into this fast-growing market with all guns blazing. The Minx Air 100 was very good; the 200 is even better...
Resumen: I used the handsome 200 for a few weeks in a hi-fi-free New York apartment and it's the best argument I've heard (aside from the more complex Sonos) for not having any other sound system. Its richness and power is glorious, as loud as hell without distort...
Resumen: It may not immediately attract the eye, but the Minx Air 200 certainly attracts the ear, especially when chucking out tunes at maximum volume, which is very loud indeed...

Smooth, transparent sound quality, Near, thunderous bass extension, Supports both Bluetooth and AirPlay
Expensive, Slightly sluggish bass response, Mild background hiss at idle
At £430, the Minx Air 200 isn't inexpensive, but it's very well designed and delivers powerful, transparent sound. Its primary competition is from Bowers & Wilkins, which offers a couple of products in a similar price range. The Zeppelin Air is £70 deare...
Bonkers, stylish, incredibly powerful, great sound, amazing bass
Expensive, controls a little fussy, Blutooth re-connection a little fussy,
There are some things about the Minx 200 that we found a little bit annoying. But we do mean "little bit", there is so much to love here that we don't want to overplay a few bugs, especially as some of them could be overcome with a firmware update...

It's highly adaptable, multifunctional and it both looks and sounds very pleasing indeed.
Very little. It's not quite as good value as the Minx Air 100 and the bass could be a little punchier
The only reason to choose another wireless speaker at this price is if you're looking to link up a sound system throughout your house; that, or if you've lost your mind....
