Resumen: Making excellent use of the 3DS’s stereoscopic tech to play with perspective, Nintendo has crafted one of the finest entries in the Super Mario series yet. Not only is it a challenge to find all three Star Coins hidden in each level, but the game keeps yo...

Resumen: The more portly brother of the Nintendo 3DS was only announced by Nintendo just over a week ago – and the brilliantly kept secret is due for a properly tight turn around, hitting stores later this month, on July 28.But as much a surprise as the new handhe...
Resumen: Bigger and Badder than beforeAt the end of April, I celebrated ? my 35th Birthday. Around the same time, I had the opportunity to spend a little money at Argos. It had been a long time since I bought any new video game gear and started to consider the PS ...

If you're hellbent on getting your nipper or yourself a 3DS, then the XL is the obvious choice. However, without the additional thumbstick, Nintendo has once again failed to deliver the means to comfortably explore 3D environments. Considering the third d...

Bigger screens are generally more comfortable than those in the standard 3DS, Battery life has improved, 3D effect is more immersive, Good finish, decentquality matte plastics that are fingerprintprone, Improved design and handling, Buttons are more pract
Still only one analogue stick, Mains charger not included, More plasticky, less highend feel than the original 3DS, Screen brightness slightly lower than the 3DS, Screens are bigger but resolution stays the same, Battery can't be removed
If you don't mind its bulkier design, the 3DS XL is probably a better choice than the original 3DS. It's nicer to handle and its bigger screens are generally nicer to use—even if the resolution hasn't been upped (onscreen images are less finely detailed)....

Lower pixel density, Only one circle pad, Less pretty
If you spend most of your day staring at the new iPad's gorgeous Retina Display - or even the rival PS Vita's glorious OLED screen - the 3DS XL's often stretched-looking screens may put you off a purchase. For existing 3DS owners looking for an upgrade the...
Resumen: As soon as the Nintendo 3DS XL was revealed, we knew it was only a matter of time before we saw a revised version of the handheld go on sale. Looking back across the history of Nintendo handhelds, their were four different versions of the Gameboy (in...
The much larger display makes games easier on the eye, bringing games to life to broaden the appeal of Nintendo’s 3DS range. Should you wish to have the 3D effect switched on, the effects are much more noticeable and obvious than before. Games such as Super Mario 3D Land and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time played on the 3DS XL will take any Nintendo fans breath away. Nintendo’s 3DS XL also d
The larger screen makes games look even better, but even the 3DS cannot compete with the HD screen quality of the PlayStation Vita. The build quality could also be better, especially when, again, compared to the superbly-made PlayStation Vita. The 3DS XL also sacrifices portability for size, so there’s no longer any hope of stashing it in your jeans pockets without suffering from unsightly bulges
The Nintendo 3DS XL is an impressive system that adds new life to Nintendo’s 3D handheld library. It may not be worth the price to upgrade, but newcomers will not be disappointed. Nintendo 3DS XL is tagged with Nintendo, 3DS X, L review, gaming, handh...
